Safety at Southwest Montana’s Hot Springs
In Southwest Montana, we love to highlight the six natural hot springs in our region! With the pandemic, we thought this would be a great opportunity to not only highlight the hot springs of Southwest Montana, but to provide an update of the safety measures being taken.
In the year following graduation, some friends and I made a habit of trekking from Bozeman to Norris Hot Springs every Monday night. This was by far one of my favorite routines. Not only did I get to spend time with some of my best friends, but there is no better way to relax than soaking in the natural hot springs of Montana. As you sit in the water, it is so easy to settle in and let the stress of life slowly subside.
Each of Southwest Montana’s hot springs offer a unique experience, all of which are worthy of your next Montana itinerary!
With our stay at home order, Montana Hot Springs – like so many businesses – were closed for a number of weeks. Now that our favorite spots to soak in Montana are back open, things look a little different, but all 6 hot springs are welcoming visitors! If you choose to visit Southwest Montana or travel throughout the region, please follow social distancing guidelines, know before you go, and be Montana Aware!
We have found ourselves asking, ‘what is the COVID protocol at the hot springs?’ Here is a brief overview of how each of our developed hot springs are keeping guests safe, as of December 20, 2020:
Boulder Hot Springs
Boulder Hot Springs is taking reservations for overnight guests. With a number of precautions (extra cleaning, additional staff training, regular health checks) in place, BHS is providing a safe and comfortable environment for guests.
