The Ruby Valley Lodge is located in Montana's Fish, Wildlife, & Parks Region 3, Southwestern Montana. Region 3 encompasses 18,089 square miles and includes the counties of Broadwater, Gallatin, Madison (where Ruby Valley Lodge is located), Beaverhead, and Jefferson. Big game hunting is outstanding in the Southwest Montana area. Approximately 50 per cent of the elk harvest in the entire state of Montana comes from Region 3.
